All students must satisfy the following requirements to be awarded a La Salle Academy Diploma. A minimum of 26.5 total credits is required, including the following:

• English: 4 credits
• Mathematics: 4 credits
• Social Studies: 4 credits
• Religion: 1 credit for each year in attendance at La Salle Academy
• Science: 3 credits, two of them being in laboratory sciences
• Foreign Language: 2 credits
• Physical Education: 2 credits
• Fine Arts: 1 credit
• Health: ½ credit
• Computer Science: ½ credit
• Electives: 2 or more credits
• Community Service: 10 hours for each year in attendance at La Salle Academy

To obtain a New York State Regents Diploma, a student is required to attain a passing grade (65% or better) Regents Examinations in Mathematics, Science, English, Global History and United States History. The New York State Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation requires passing an additional Mathematics and Science Regents Examination and a Regents Examination in a Modern Foreign Language.
