At La Salle we work together as a team to encourage and support our young men to greater and greater success.

Dear Parents, Guardians, Graduates and Friends of LaSalle:

Welcome to the La Salle of the 21st Century! We continue our 163-year tradition of providing excellence in education at our new home on 6th Street where young men grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

The educational tradition of the Brothers of the Christian Schools commits us to guiding our students as they become young men respectful of social diversity and intellectual honesty. An open and inclusive Christian community based in the East Village, our school reflects the diversity and creativity of the surrounding community. We welcome all young men of faith who wish to live, learn and succeed. This is a bold mission that calls for a deeply held commitment to the success of each individual student.

At La Salle we work together as a team to encourage and support our young men to greater and greater success. To promote this success and to facilitate communication among the stakeholders of the school – parents/guardians/teachers, students and administrators – we have a new and more easily navigable website. Additionally, we are in the process of fully implementing Edline. Each parent/guardian and student has been given an activation code for Edline. Please take the time to activate your account and provide the needed information. Once you have done so, you will have complete access to your son’s grades, assignments, and calendar. If you need an activation code, please call the main office at (212) 475-8940 and speak with Mr. Ben Kulos, our attendance officer who will be able to assist you or route your request to someone who can assist you.

Have a great year and keep your eyes on the website and calendar for news and upcoming events.

Cordially,

William D. Macatee, Ed.D.
Principal
