La Salle Academy opened its doors in 1848 as a pioneer in education; and for the past 163 years, the school has remained steeped in its tradition of revolutionizing learning and graduating well-educated young people who become the best ambassadors for the value of a quality education. Current Volunteers
La Salle Academy maintains an academic support center for students who feel they are in need of extra academic help. The center is staffed by two volunteer faculty who are available before, during, and after school for tutoring, mentoring, and SAT/PSAT and Regents Examination prep work.
Volunteer Opportunities
La Salle provides unique opportunities for those who wish to give back. These opportunities provide valuable work experience, fundamental knowledge and a way to help shape a healthy, vibrant educational community. All volunteers are welcome and greatly appreciated. Volunteering allows others to play an essential role in the great work we do.
