In July 2020, La Salle Academy changed the name of its in-house scholarship program, the Lasallian Student Sponsorship Program, to Lasallian Patrons. The former name was a source of confusion for students and donors alike since it closely resembles the Archdiocesan scholarship program, Student Sponsor Partners (SSP).
The rebrand of Lasallian Patrons underscores the exclusivity of participation for our benefactors. When becoming a Lasallian Patron, you will be recognized on our website and in our Annual Report. You will receive quarterly report cards and bi-annual notes from your student. Last but not least, you will be invited to meet your student and his family at a dinner which is held annually at the school.
This vital program is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts to provide a rigorous college-preparatory Catholic high school education to young men most in need. For nearly three decades, thousands of students have benefited from Lasallian Patrons, formerly known as the Lasallian Student Sponsorship Program, which was designed to help families bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and what they can afford to pay. Our goal is simple: we strive to provide an excellent education to all young men, especially those who come from families who do not have the resources for a Catholic education. This program makes it possible for any family to give their son the Lasallian education and experience, regardless of their income level.
