Ambassador’s Club
The mission of the Student Ambassadors Club mission is to encourage students to share their insights, experiences and values in a productive manner, which in return will aid in the development of leadership skills. It is a voluntary program, but members are expected to maintain involvement and give full effort at all times. Student Ambassadors provide new and prospective students exposure to the campus and to a “student’s way of life” through various events and activities on campus.
Student Ambassadors assist prospective middle school students in making an informed decision about choosing to attend La Salle Academy. All members of the club have joined because of their interest in promoting La Salle Academy’s academic programs and representing the academy at organized events. It is our duty as members of the La Sallian Community to participate in admissions events, meet new students, welcome incoming freshmen and organize various events.
Club Objectives:
- Recruit prospective middle school students during classroom presentations and at high school fairs
- Provide Personal Campus Tours
- Assist with Open House
- Assist with “Cardinal for a Day”

Student Culture Movement
The mission of the SCM is to help high school students currently attending La Salle Academy and St. Jean Baptiste High School become more culturally exposed to the performing and visual arts at a significantly reduced price, or for no cost at all. All operational and organizational responsibilities are directed by the students themselves, with the help and guidance of school staff.
The SCM has gone on various trips such as the following: Tours of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Queens Museum of Art, and the Morgan Museum, Food/Walking Tour of Little Italy & Chinatown, Ice Skating at Chelsea Piers, Bowling at AMF Bowling 34th Avenue Lanes, productions at the New Victory Theater & the City Lights Youth Theater, and various Haunted Houses during Halloween.
SCM members from La Salle Academy and St. Jean Baptiste High School have also collaborated on community service events such as spreading Holiday Cheer to students at the Catholic Elementary Schools and participating in the Revlon Walk for Women.
