La Salle Academy’s December Recap

During December, the entire school community enjoyed numerous activities before the Christmas break. Faculty, staff, and students participated in Spirit Week, sporting festive holiday apparel. The LSA Drama Club, led by Ms. Barbara Powers, performed a special production of “A Christmas Carol” in the gymnasium. Please see below for other events at La Salle during December.
La Salle Academy seniors partnered with St. Jean Baptiste High School seniors spreading holiday cheer to students at Our Lady of Lourdes and Sacred Heart Schools.
We are proud to announce that senior Xavier F. ’24 has earned a full four-year scholarship as a QuestBridge Match Scholarship Recipient! Xavier is one of 2,242 finalists selected from an applicant pool of over 20,800 applicants nationwide. Xavier was matched with his top choice and will be attending the University of Notre Dame.

Students and their parents enjoyed the opportunity to connect with their Lasallian Patron at the annual Lasallian Patrons Dinner at Da Nico Restaurante. The room was filled with a spirit of enthusiasm. Attendees pictured above are Joseph Cruz ’03 with senior Jayden L. ’24.

We thank all our Lasallian Patrons who continue to generously support La Salle. The Lasallian Patrons program is vital to keep tuition affordable for the families of young men who share in our belief in the importance of a Catholic education. If you are interested in becoming a Lasallian Patron, click here or contact Thomas Ferro at 212-475-8940 ext. 301 or [email protected].

The entire school community gathered for the Immaculate Conception Mass on December 8.
