In honor of Founder’s Week and Teacher Appreciation Week, we are honored to pass along some of the thoughts and sentiments shared with us by students and parents.
To All Teachers
We come to You today and give thanks for all our teachers. Thank You for the way in which they give of themselves each day in the classroom, Serving and instructing the next generation of this land. We thank You for them all now.
Father, please fill their hearts with courage now by Your mighty Spirit.
Fill them with Your strength, so they may rise to every challenge and not grow weary.
Fill them with Your wisdom, so that they may be able to make good judgement when guiding and helping others.
Fill them with Your peace, so that when stress and anxiety comes it would not overwhelm them.
Fill them with Your joy, so that the passion they have for their subject may become an infectious passion that spreads.
We ask all this in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.

It is my pleasure to acknowledge the talent and expertise through your active participation in successful running of LaSalle Academy school. You have made a difference through your dedication and continued support of our students. Your ideas, input, and enthusiasm were most appreciated in helping us make valuable improvements to the school as a whole. I met you when my son was in 10th grade when you came back as the principal of LaSalle, you nicely explained to Abiola his graduation requirements and how to go about his credits. He was in a class above his grade at the time but after your explanation, you made him feel comfortable to continue in the school I can’t thank you enough. I am so proud of Abiola for the education he has received at LaSalle Academy today and knowing well that his future will be great 👍 Thank you again.
I appreciate the strong, supportive, stable and safe return you implemented for our son’s return to school after his major surgery. You made sure to check in with us to make sure you could provide for all his needs. We are grateful for all your help, attention and compassion.
Love, The Drucker and Solano Family🙌🏾💗🤩

Mr. Neering is one of the best teachers I have had in many years he is really thoughtful of all of the students very funny and cares for all of his students to do well in his class. I appreciate him very much because he is very helpful when it comes to guidance, he also runs the green club where I participate with my fellow companions at school and is a very fun thing to do with him because he makes it fun and interesting. Thank you, Mr. Neering, for having a heart of gold.

Hydropinic Towers Yea! I will never forget this tune for the Green Club just as I will never forget the great experience you have given me Mr. Neering. You we’re among the first teachers I had at La Salle and thanks to you my transition into high school was an easy one. My mind was captivated by your energetic way of teaching, and through your teaching, I discovered my passion for biology and for protecting the environment. Thank you, Mr. Neering!

Thank you, Ms. O’Mara, for showing me the wonderful world of art, and the many ways I can express myself. From drawings, to sculpture, I enjoyed making every artwork I have done with you because you taught with passion. Thanks to you I was able to find comfort in art during the most stressing moments of my high school career and it has become a part of my identity.
Mr. Pannell has done a lot for me in many ways, he has helped me through a lot of tough things I went through this year and constantly is giving good advice to me.
Mr. Peña is a great teacher, he always lights up the room with his jokes. He’s always great at teaching his topics and always has a smile on his face. Mr. Peña is truly one of my favorite teachers.

I appreciate you very much for teaching my son our faith.
Thank you for being a great teacher. You always go above and beyond. When you teach a subject there is never any uncertainty in the way you teach it. You always nail it. Thank you for all your help.
He’s funny, he’s near our age group and from the same kind of ethnic background so he understands us. He’s open to discussing any topics and down-to-earth about it, meaning he’s understanding. Also whenever we make a mistake he lets us off the hook, of course while reminding us to do better. The way he teaches is great, not directly reading off the board, and speaking to us with an understanding of knowledge he fully grasps. It’s honestly an overall fun time when he teaches, I’m not stressed, bored, tired, instead I’m actually excited. Thank you Mr.Peña!
Thank you for teaching our son, Landon, the gift of understanding and speaking of another language. Your Hard work and Dedication are much appreciated.

Hello Ms. Ritziu! Math is a subject that I struggle with. However, despite COVID, you were able to help me with all my questions and difficulties in math. I am glad that I am able to have you as a homeroom teacher as well. Thanks to your uplifting and positive outlook, each morning, before class starts, is always a good morning!
Thank you, Mariano truly enjoyed math class. It’s a subject that he has a good grasp on so it can be very easy for him to lose interest, when the coursework seems to “simple”. And I am happy to say you made it engaging for him to continue with the love of math. Again, I say Thank You!
Thank you for not only preparing my son for academics but also for life. You have boosted up his confidence and made him a better human being.

My future is brighter and clearer because of all you’ve done for me. Thank you for being such a supportive teacher.
I never thought I was going to be able to write for the school newspaper, but thanks to you I did! You gave me confidence in my abilities to write. You taught me many social skills and how to be professional. I am extremely grateful that you pushed me to write for the school newspaper because through it, I was able to learn many valuable skills that I will be able to use as I continue my career.
Ms. Toney you get “BIG Props” as we use to say in my day! English / literature class has never been top priority on Mariano’s “go-to” subject list. But you made it interesting and engaged and supported him in ways I’ve never seen before. With your support Mariano was able to publish his poetry. It was a very proud moment for the family. Thank You! We really appreciate the work you did/do with him.
Thank you for encouraging my son to reach high in his education! You’ve been such a blessing.
